I'll remember whenever a young, aspiring campaigning state representative stumbled on my entry way to solicit my vote. We had a pleasant conversation, mostly him telling me why he wanted to represent me and why he was qualified. Conservative values, low or no taxes, along with a little bit about his background as a tax attorney. Exactly why are most politicians lawyers anyway? But that's another subject.
I told him I'd two questions for him and that I failed to want him to resolve the particular question, but what I wished to know by asking these two questions was about what basis however make his decision.
The 2 general questions were asking how he'd decide to vote on some adult video or pornographic legislation and just how he would choose to vote on road improvement expenditures.

I had been stunned! I'd found a person that I could support, assuming his moral values matched mine. It really is imperative that individuals elect officials that will respond to the folks without compromising their own standards and moral principles. Some issues are relative. Morals and values are absolute. And that i will absolutely opt for those absolute values!
After our discussion he left our home to carry on canvassing the area. After a few minutes he reappeared within my door to tell me his car wouldn't normally start.
